Eastnews Press Agency was established in 1999 by photographer Pete Lawson to service National and International newspapers and magazines.
From day one Eastnews has been consistent in providing fast and efficient picture coverage across Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk and Kent. Be it covering breaking news, our own story idea or a commission Eastnews has built up a well respected reputation.

Pete has 15 years experience in photo journalism and has covered stories all round the globe. He has excellent local knowledge and contacts as well as a substantial news and photographic archive, vital resources that can only be developed over time.
In 2008 photographer Martin Rose joined Pete to bolster the cover offered by Eastnews and has seen our agency increase the number of stories covered across Essex and the surrounding counties.

Our core area for coverage is Essex, however we do cover commissions and stories in the surrounding counties of Suffolk, Hertfordshire, Kent and London.
Please send your request by email, we will reply immediately, we are unable to supply contact sheets via a telephone request.
We are unable to supply hard copies of images, but can supply digital images that you can print yourselves, please email your request and we will send you a quotation for the image.
We have excellent relationships with several pilots who are able to fly at very short notice to provide top quality aerial photography. Please contact us for a detailed quotation.

We normally file our images within an hour of the shoot, but we have a "shoot live" system on our cameras that enables us to file pictures at the point of capture if the images are needed sooner.
We exclusively use Canon EOS 1 Cameras and L Series Lenses along with Apple Computers.
Under no circumstances can our images be used without first agreeing a fee, any person or organisation found to be using our images without our express permission will be liable to legal action. Using our images without our permission is a breach of our copyright.
